The application: local monitoring
The developer does not collect personal data from the SightWall Camera app. Camera video connects directly to your Mac; person and animal detection runs on the device. SightWall does not operate a cloud service for your camera footage or require a SightWall account.
What stays on your device
Camera configuration, saved views, event history and trial status are stored on your device. Saved camera passwords are protected by macOS Keychain. Video and snapshots are written to the folder you select. If you choose a cloud-synced folder, that provider may sync the files under its own terms. Exported backups that include passwords must be kept secure.
Permissions and your choices
Local Network permission allows access to cameras on your network. Folder access lets the app save media. Notifications are used if you enable alerts. You can change permissions in macOS System Settings, remove cameras and delete local media or settings. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily remove recordings or Keychain items.
Purchases and Apple services
Apple handles App Store downloads, payments and transaction services under Apple’s privacy policy. SightWall uses StoreKit to check purchase entitlements and restore purchases. The developer does not receive your payment-card details.
This website and support email
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts or cookies. The hosting provider may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages and technical browser information in server and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Support emails contain the address, message and any information you choose to send. These are used to answer and investigate your request, based on the request itself and legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service.
Retention, recipients and rights
Local camera data remains under your control. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to handle the request and applicable legal obligations; hosting logs are managed under the hosting provider’s operational retention. Hosting and email providers may process website and support data to provide their services. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing by emailing info@seishindo.ro. You may complain to Romania’s data protection authority (ANSPDCP) or your local supervisory authority.
Third parties and changes
Camera manufacturers, Apple and any storage services you choose have their own privacy practices. External links open those services. Material policy changes will be published here with an updated date.
